Role

• Developer Advocate produces video content (tutorials and explanatory videos), and creates other content (written tutorials, examples and documentation) to help the developers community learn how to build products using our software
• Developer Advocate role requires a person with a technical background who can also communicate well and empathise with developers
• This role would fit you well if you love coding and thinking through advanced scenarios, enjoy creating video tutorials and communicating to a broad audience
• Location: Fully Remote
• Position: Full-time

What you will be doing

• Producing technical video content (tutorials and explanatory videos) to be published on YouTube channel and company's website
• Creating and delivering online webinars and in person talks to developers
• Writing technical articles and blog posts for the third party websites to promote Cesanta's software products

What you should have

• Experience creating good quality technical video content (tutorials and explanatory videos). A portfolio of existing videos is a must
• Experience creating developer facing content across other multiple formats, such as webinars, text tutorials, blog posts and code samples
• Excellent communication skills - you can explain a sophisticated technical issue in such a way that most people could understand
• Fluent spoken and written English. Being a native speaker is a big plus
• Knowledge of C or C++ programming language
• Understanding of TCP/IP, networking, UNIX and Operating System architecture concepts
